Farewell To Dunkeld was written by Christopher during a residency in Dunkeld in Scotland and is released on his album 1000 Years. The song’s waltz beat connected with producer Slim Vic, who began arranging and remixing the song into a stripped-down version where the folk sounds are mixed with ambient and a touch of the modern classical genre.

Rhythm as texture, texture as rhythm… the foggy and lo-fi dub created by Llarks is messy and unruly, languorous and loping. The deliberate repetition reveals subtle changes as the song-form disintegrates and reassembles itself.
– So Why Are You Here? is a track that sums up the entire Seed-X trilogy. I like the mix of different acoustic and electronic soundscapes, and So Why Are You Here? is a journey from the completely acoustic with piano and cello, to a completely electronic soundscape with drum machines and synths that implode at the end of the song.

Singular’s eyes turn north with the release of the majestic two-tracker ’Norr’. Following up on the relentlessly energetic ’Öst’, released on Lamour in November 2022, the Malmö based collective dials down the heat a notch or two.
– Lille is a deep personal song for me, and is in many ways a tribute to love. I wrote it for Dorran Alibaud on cello, and me on piano, during the pandemic. I think Dorran plays absolutely fantastic, and I’m incredibly happy that he wanted to participate on the album.
