Nadia Ratsimandresy
One of the very first electronic instruments, invented in 1928, Onde Martenot is characterized by very peculiar sounds, as voices “come from elsewhere” and offer immense expressive possibilities, with the ring that allows to play the sound in the bass or treble continuously, the keyboard vibrating under the fingers …. As Ondiste majeure of her generation, Nadia Ratsimandresy interprets the great works of Messiaen, Murail and have shared the stage with Radiohead. Exceeding the simple vintage considerations on her instrument, she have collaborated with many composers of her generation in new works for solo Ondes and live electronic.
Funky Tuna (DJ in the bar)
Annie Tådne & Maria Svahn
“Som att bli påkörd av ett tåg i en regnskog full av fåglar”
AKB is instrumentalist and musician Anna-Karin Berglund from Gävle with roots in the sphere of pop music The first release under her own name came in April this year on the EP Söndagsbarn, where the four tracks carries clear influences from the 70-80’s ambient with its space-fragrant, cosmic soundscapes. All this will be mixed with clarinet and newly written pieces, as well as a guest bassist with a bow in her hand.
At Five is a fantastic journey to a distant audiovisual world created by the Sound Quartet in a Artistic Residency 2016 at Les Abattoirs SMAC cultural center in France. In this setting, the founders of SQ, Thomas Bjelkeborn and Philippe Moenne-Loccoz stage an intriguing collaboration with musicians Nadia Rasimandrecy, Paul Pignon and visual artist Raquel Meyers. The music is composed in 5 movements with artistic possibilities for all of the participants to explore and enhance musical expressions beyond the usual domains of present day music. Nadia Ratsimandrecy – Ondes Martenot Raquel Meyes – Keyboardslöjd (visuals) Thomas Bjelkeborn – Mouthpiece and electronics Philippe Moenne-Loccoz – Percussion and electronics Paul Pignon – Woodwinds, saxophone, flutes and digeridoo
Slim Vic
Turntableist and label boss of Lamour kicks off the evening with a Christmas improvisation / destruction of a trite Christmas song that gets to taste the needle harsh treatment on the vinyl, and some newly purchased tape echo.
