White noise Collectivo is a gathering of electronic musicians and composers doing festivals and concerts in Mexico City. They present a wide range of different genres from contemporary instrumental music, sound art and of course noise. Lamour/Thomas Bjelkeborn curated the Swedish part of their concert Enklaves Sitiados at this year’s WhiteNoiseFest at Fonoteca Nacional in Mexico. Now White Noise Collectivo is curating a Mexican version of Enklaves Sitiados for this concert at Fylkingen. The 2nd part of the concert will be played 10th June at Fylkingen.
Mark Pilkington is a performer and composer of electronic and audiovisual music. He runs Thought Universe Electronic Music Studio based in Manchester, UK. He is working in the areas of acousmatic music, screened works, installation and live performance. His research interest is the fusing together of audio-visual structures that question concepts of art, music and technology. He has a PhD in Portfolio of Original Compositions in Electroacoustic Composition, University of Manchester UK 2013 and is Senior Associate Lecturer in Music at Lancaster University. http://www.markpilkington.org.uk/
BRUS/BODÉN (Uppsala)
Anna-Karin Brus och Tomas Bodén från Uppsala har ett tioårigt musikaliskt samarbete bakom sig med bandet Differnet och technoduon Liminals. Deras framträdanden har inslag av performance och de har även gjort flera uppmärksammade ljudinstallationer. Anna-Karin Brus är utbildad biolog, bildkonstnär och medlem i den Uppsalabaserade konstnärsgruppen haka. Hon arbetar med måleri och fotografi i en egen collageteknik. Bodén är musiker och kompositör.
På WhiteNoiseFest kommer de att framföra Sångare #9, där vatten i olika aggregationstillstånd möter modularsyntar och annan analog elektronik.
